SELF TITLED

Self-titled is an exploration project for the students to express their own individuality and reflect their personality into digital art self-expression .

The main idea is to build up self-confidence and discover their interests .

PART 1: WEEK 10 (5 marks)

Idea Development

1. Write a biography about yourself

INTRO	Hello, my name is Katherine. I'm a person who appreciates and admires people's work. However, I realized that I'm a person who doesn't appreciate my own.
PARAGRAPH 1	What is your passion? I enjoy sitting down to draw, write fictional stories, watch film series, and listen to music. My passion is to show the world what my creativity is capable of, both narrative and visual.
PARAGRAPH 2	What motivates you to chase your dreams? My dad is always the person I first look up to. He's a person who appreciates detail in a work while also working in simplicity. He appreciates small things from a small source of nature, either from a picture, video or a live experience and I always take that side of his personality, with that I can be ambitious, having desires just from the smallest things I learn or see.
SUMMARY	How do you want to visualize your work? I'll stick to realism photography as much as possible with interesting elements

2. Write a statement about your work

INTRO	I plan to make 2000's modern vibe picture in my artwork
PARAGRAPH 1	In this work, I express how I would fix my skepticism of my own work by looking at my reflection, myself. I'd describe it by putting myself in a photo frame as it was me that was holding the picture. At the same time, I'd also put another picture of me behind while doing an action of taking the polaroid picture.
PARAGRAPH 2	What's the message you want people to understand? Now as a whole, I'm the one who can do my own artwork, I'm the only one who can truly appreciate my work. So as a metaphor, I took a picture of myself and looked at it, expressing how much worth both my artwork and myself as a person
SUMMARY	What's your motto/quote? There's no prize for perfection, only an end to perfection
